Hard, cooked cheese with slow maturation, made with raw, partially skimmed milk, registered as Protected Denomination of Origin in accordance with Reg. CE 510/2006.
Parmigiano Reggiano aged for more than 22 months is perfectly soluble, crumbly and grainy.
It has hints of melted butter, fresh fruit and citrus fruits, together with hints of dried fruit.
