The Caseificio Sociale Castellazzo
was one of the first structures in the province of Reggio Emilia for the transformation of milk. Nowadays the Caseificio Sociale Castellazzo is considered an important production company within the province and processes more than 62,000 quintals of milk every year, resulting in more than 11,000 wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano.

Our dairy has one of the most modern production plants in line with the regulations in force and the highest qualitative standards; and its warehouse for the storage of the product boasts exceptional features. Over the years our dairy has been the reference point for hundreds of producers, also creating revenue and jobs. It has also provided continuity and guarantee in terms of work for many small farms dedicated to cattle breeding and to the production of milk to be transformed into Parmigiano Reggiano. The volume of work of the dairy has constantly increased, as well as its attention to product quality, in fact it was one of the first dairies in our province to be awarded certification according to UNI EN ISO 9002 standards.
